Usage Note

Meines Wissens hedges a factual claim by making it conditional on the speaker's (possibly incomplete) knowledge: Meines Wissens ist das noch nicht entschieden ('To my knowledge that hasn't been decided yet'). Slightly more formal than soweit ich weiß; common in professional and academic discourse.
